Dr. Harris is the founding physician of Southeast Urogyn and has continued there since 1999. He is a board-certified urogynecologist, treating patients at Southeast Urogyn in Jackson, Mississippi. Dr. Harris provides a wide variety of urogynecological treatments, including incontinence therapies, vaginal relaxation services, minimally invasive outpatient hysterectomies, and procedures to address bladder control, bowel control, and vaginal support loss. Dr. Harris also has a special interest in menopause and surgical and non-surgical vaginal rejuvenation treatments.
Dr. Harris earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Mississippi State University before completing his medical degree at the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, followed by sub-specialty fellowship training in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery at Duke University Medical Center. He is double Board Certified in Gynecology and Obstetrics, as well as Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Harris is a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, the International Continence Society, the Society of Gynecologic Surgeons, the International Urogynecologic Society, and many more.
Dr. Harris combines impeccable training with years of experience to ensure that each patient receives treatment to specifically address concerns and help them return to their normal lifestyle, activities, and an overall improved quality of life.
